Does anyone know if I enroll in school and the only thing I have is prima Facie .. Will I have to pay out of state tuition or in state tuition. I graduated from the same state I went to go to college. And have lives here over ten years.

Ayid1 Yes you can file I 360 with new I 485 to get Work Permit. Please Please Please!!! DONT try and Use your former I 485 together with the I 360. My lawyer helped me to file my WorkPermit to connect it with the Past I 485 and i got DENIED. I had to wait for some time but after i realised Vawa takes longer for me to wait for an APPROVAL inoder to file I 765, i decided to let my lawyer help me File for work Permit joining it with New I 485 and within 2 Months i was APPROVED. BELIEVE ME.

hi, sandhra ...I m vishufrom Punjab ... I hope u remember ...I need your help actullay my case is still pending from October 2011. nothing touch etc . today I m trying to check my case status then I see somebody try to open my id from different different id (which is I registered with usics). I m allways using my home computer nobody was coming here and how anybody try this ...I m confuse ..secondly now I m unable to open my id.

and I contact with my congressmen he don't receive any reply from last 6 weeks .

I get last month ead after renewal and last week I get 5th prima facie also .

I have I-485 and I-360 pending both.

my attorney is not good ...so now can u suggest me I need to change my attorney or no ? he already take complete fees .

next and another problem I apply divorced dec last week in newyork . my attorney says feb 27th judge sighn divorce but he don't receive any kind of post card when he get postcard then I receive or collcet divorced degree . so what is this ? that's true or not ?

Akumu your work permit was denied because your lawyer screwed up when he put the wrong category in your form I-765. THE immigration Law allows to file I-765 with I-485 pending,it's not allowed for those in removal proceedings and marrried to a green card holder.I filed thousands of Vawa Cases with pending form I-485 and i just submitted form I-765 along with form I-360 and every single person got the EAD,just look here in this thread and you will find hundreds of members that filed I-485 prior to their Vawa and they got EAD.Your information is not correct.Your EAD was rejected not because Uscis did not accept your old I-485,but because your lawyer filed your I-765 wrong. I am using my phone and probably I mispeled some words.

You need to trust in your lawyer otherwise you won't sleep thinking he may screw up in your case, but why you do not trust in your lawyer? Regarding the delay to adjudicate your vawa case contact your congress person and ask him to inquire about your Vawa case.

I couldn't understand your question regarding your divorce, but after you divorce the Judge takes a few day to sign the divorce decree(7/15 days) and once the divorce is signed your lawyer can get the divorce decree..To contact me send a PM through visa journey and I will give you my email.

Godhelpusal, If you're married to us citizen you can file I-485 and I-765 while your I-360 is pending, otherwise if married to LPR you have to wait until I-360 gets approved.

Godhelpusaall if your Vawa was approved with deferred action use category C 17 or C 31 if approved VAWA self-petitioner.If you cannot pay the Uscis fees, submit form I-912 along with form I-765 ok, BUT if you have I-485 pending then file using category ( C ) ( 9) if your spouse is american, if you are married to a green card holder then you need to wait a visa number becomes available to file I-485.

Dear friends, I just wanna to inform all of you that today I submitted Appeal (Form I-290B) from denial of VAWA I-360. It was filed in correlation with Matter of Chawathe, 25 I&N Dec. 369,375 (AAO 2010) stating that Mr. Macbook only has to show that his claim is "more likely than not" or "provably" true. Id. Having "some doubt" is not enough to deny the petition. Chawathe, 25 I&N Dec. at 376.

I will keep you updated.

Macbook, that's a very interesting position. Why did you make that argument instead of concentrating on new evidence?

I hope you remember my case. So I have my old I-485 pending (filed with my husband) and I have filed EAD twice (one along with the I-485 and a renewal one after I filed I-360 and it was approved). Now my VAWA is approved, if I file a new I-485, would it give me a better chance for AOS or would it make no difference? My old I-485 was put into pending (initial review) after I filed I-360.
