Hi I am new to the site been reading but I need some helpful info, sandranj hope I spelt that correctly .......I have a pending i360 case I have got my first prima facie which expires the 21st Nov 2012. I don't have a work permit don't know wat a ead card is as I see others have I applied for an aos but right now I am so frustrated because I didn't know this process was so confusing n long, I do have a lawyer but my case is the first of this kind for him so info I have to be googling on my own. Can u please help me I am in md no family here

Hi how is everything going, i am also from Trinidad living here and can assist you since i got my Approval I360.. EAD is employment authorisation. You get this when you have filed your i485 with the i360 . to file for sad the form is i765. I really believe if you have a strong case you do not need an atorney and IF HE HAS NO CLUE OF THIS TYPE OF CASE LET HIM GOOOOO JEDDDDDD..... WHAT SGOIN ON SO FAR WITH YOUR FILE

True. If one can't get a pro-bono attorney, then one may consider filing on your own. Of course, there are hundreds of procedural nuances - but Sandranj or someone else here might help out. Just make sure you submit proper proofs of all items:

1. Battery, or extreme cruelty by spouse WHILE living together in the US toward you or your children. If abuse was mental, it had to have caused mental harm.

2. Spouse is LPR or USC right now.

3. Marriage was bona-fide; u r not aware of any legal dissolution of marriage (that occurred more than 2 years ago)

4. Good Conduct Certificate issued within last 60 days, 2 pics

Of course, the devil hides in details - and proper proofs may not be easy to compile without an attorney. These are just basic requirements; without ALL of them + detailed personal statement, I-360 will not be considered
