Hi everyone. I've been following this forum for a while now. My I-360 is pending for 11 months now. Yesterday I got a call from a management department of the building where I used to reside with my husband. They asked my permission to release a lease agreement to somebody from immigration department for the whole time I was living there. I guess my case was finally touched. I am nervous because my husband was not on lease agreement. He did not have any credit history, never filed taxes, owned a lot of money in child support; therefore, they would not even open a bank account for his in the bank. He used my credit cards and my bank account to deposit his paycheck. Very very nervous...

The missing teens Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight have been found alive today after 10 years missing, all of them in the same house(they were kidnapped).Charles Ramsey (neighbor) helped to rescue the girls, he is simple man and with his help he changed their story...way to go man.We should never give up hope.

I agree Sandra what a glorious ending for such a long journey for these teens now young women. I have moments where I feel this journey will never end but God never turns his back on the good at heart were victims and now survivors on this journey we must not give up no matter what!!!

They also asked that lady from the office to confirm the dates I was living there and send a copy of lease for the whole time I was living there. Also, they asked her who I was living there with. I did provide them a copy of lease but for the first year only because I did not receive the copy for the second year at the time of filing I-360.

Hello everyone,

My VAWA application just got approved and I am so happy and relieved!

It's been exactly 12 months since I applied. I had filed an I-485 and an I-765 previously and had received a work permit pretty quickly (6-8 weeks). I want to give very special thanks to Sandranj who helped me throughout the whole process of filing for VAWA, including writing the personal statement, gathering all the necessary paperwork and giving advice about different questions/issues that arose along the way. Getting free help (yes, she didn't charge me anything) when you are feeling so hopeless and depressed is priceless and helped me get through that sad experience, that is why I am indebted to her and always will be. I did a good thing reaching out to this forum because that is how she got in touch with me.

Thanks Faithkeeper.. My case status will be adjusdicated may be in 2014 or 2015.. not so soon.. I am male applicant so there are high chances of denial.....

vawa made for women.. men approval rate 20% and women approval rate 80%... True Fact based on Approval Fact sheet...
