thanks sandranj. i'm going to take my lawyers advice and wait for the decision on vawa. i don't think i could handle the stress of removal proceedings on top of a denial. from what i understand he will file i 485 if we get an approval and ask for fee waiver. so far he has not mentioned any fees and i did sign some paperwork which said he would be handling my case for free. i really hope they don't send RFE because other than pictures husband has destroyed most paperwork.

02-03-2006 I130 filed

10-16-2006 I130 approved

05-15-2012 I360 sent

05-29-2012 I360 receipt date

06-04-2012 1st prima facie received

11-16-2012 2nd prima facie sent out

05-01-2013 3rd prima facie sent out

05-16-2013 I360 APPROVED!!!!!

Oh my missymd after waiting so long you got an RFE in Feb of this year if you dont mind me asking what sort of things did USCIS ask for? My lawyer is not very helpful either I learnt it all on my own and through this website with Sandranj and the other members!

Hey everyone.

Just want to update you all on my case, unfortunatelly no news on it since my lawyer called VSC and they told him that my case was been Adjudicated by a officer, that was almost a week ago. I thought that if it was been adjucated by officer already i would received an decision soon, but i guess i was wrong. hopefully soon they will update me on my case and approve it. i cant wait to file for divorce.

panamaguy you should find a lawyer to represent you regarding your daughter custody and regarding the restraining order against your wife as well. In the same day you get your Vawa approval notice get a restraining order against her ,kick her out, change the lock doors and file for custody, but you need to do all these things in the same day or same week, then start getting ready now man.Do not wait the approval to start looking for these things, start looking now, and if you get the approval notice in your hands in the morning you should afternoon file a restraining order and kick her out.

My case was approved on April 10th but when I got the letter, it says it was actually approved on March 26th...it usually takes about 2 weeks for them to update the system and send you a notice... Thats what I think, so dont worry! you will get your approval anytime soon

i hope it will come soon. to make it worse my case don't show online. since i applied i was never able to check my case status at the uscis website. it says " Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283." than i called them and they gave me no sense answer saying that because of severity of my case and maybe someone can find my receipt and check online on my case, they dont show my case online for safety. but everyone here can check their case online, so that make no sense. but i guess i just have to wait for an answer in the mail.
