04/24/2012 - VAWA I-360 Received by VSC

05/02/2012 - Receipt Notice Issued (received in hand on 5/08/2012)

05/03/2012 - 180-day Notice of Prima Facie Issued(received in hand on 5/08/2012)

10/02/2012 - Mailed request for renewal of Prima Facie

10/18/2012 - Received renewed 180-day notice of Prima Facie

10/26/2012 - Filed i-485 and i-765 for EAD with request to join them to my pending i-360

10/31/2012 - Receipt Notices Issued for i-485 and i-765, fees waived (received in hand on 11/05/2012)

11/02/2012 - Appointment notice issued for i-485 biometrics appointment on 11/27/2012

11/08/2012 - Biometrics notice received and returned with a request to reschedule.

11/15/2012 - i-765 Approved / Notice Mailed / Card Production Ordered

11/19/2012 - EAD Card Mailed / Approval Notice Paper Copy Received

11/23/2012 - EAD Card DELIVERED!11/30/2012 - SSN applied for - card received 7 days later!

12/14/2012 - Biometrics done (walked in a few days before my appointment, was a great experience!)

04/05/2013 - Third Prima Facie Received valid for 60 days

04/11/2013 - Sent additional evidence that was unavailable at time of filing, received by VSC on 4/15/2013.

04/18/2013 - Touched (acknowledgment of correspondence received by USCIS)

04/26/2013 - I360 APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

05/02/2013 - Received in mail approval notice (dated 4/24/2013 - a year to the day that i filed!) and notice of deferred action.

06/24/2013 - i-485 Transferred to NBC "to speed up processing"

07/03/2013 - RFE for medical

10/10/2013 - RFE response mailed, a few days late - praying that its still accepted!

10/17/2013 - Case updated to show 'RFE Response Review'... waiting on an interview date now i think!<p>

04/16/2014 - GC INTERVIEW!!!!! Felt it did not go well

05/02/2014 - green card approved!

(I am filing by myself without the help of an attorney)

VSC report said they are now processing vawa case on Nov 6th 2011, but I applied it on Jan 22th 2011, what is this for? The people who applied vawa since Jan 2011 got results already. old faces gone, new faces coming, I am living my life day by day, although I still married with US citizen for 4 years. Using my US citizen friend's words, before you married with an US citizen, you are US citizen, but time changes, period!

Does anyone get/renew driver's license with Prima Facie? I have texas driver's license thats expired two years and 3months ago...

I just moved to Pennsylvania and try to get DL. The website of PA says that i have to have AT LEAST 1year of legal presence. I just got my Work permit last month. does it mean i can't get DL because my EAD expires in 11months? Do you think it would matter or they will issue 6months DL anyway?

Is it easier to get DL in NJ? My step lives in NJ so i can go apply for DL in NJ if its easier... Any advise or experience , please?

NJ DMV may not recognize PF (NY DMV sure doesn't). But PA (along with TX and FL) does - it's in their DMV booklet.

You realize that because you let over 2 years lapse, you need full road test? Beyond that, do let us know how long your new PA license will be marked "valid to..."

Irara with a ead u can get a DL in any state. In nj pa and NY they are gonna specify ur temporary status and in nj your DL will expire around the time ur ead expires. In philly its also will expire around that time. In NY ur license will give u five years but a big temporary status with ur ead expiration date will be on it like philly they have a big temporary status on theirs but nj have a small print on theirs. See different IDs from my previous job. Connecticut and Massachusetts will give u what they give to citizens five years regardless. I was out of status when I got my mass DL. They don't require proof of legal presence. Good luck!

02/19/2013 Vsc received my application

02/22/2013 NOA mailed out

My lawyer has a prima facie never collected it Caz I don't need any benefit at this time.

03/05/2013 EAD mailed out (actual ead date, it will expire 03/04/2014)

03/08/2013 Lawyer received biometrics for 3/17/2013 (day after my edd, [expected due date] did early walking 3/12/13)

03/29/2013 Card in hand (lawyer received it abt a week earlier but I delivered so was unable to collect it)

Waiting for my i360 approval but I'm in no rush (good things come to those who wait)

8/14/13 i360 approved. :)

10/8/2013 aos interview. .. approved :)

10/9/2013 status adjust to lpr and welcome package mailed out.

8/15/2013 I484 transfered to local office. :)

Yes PA booklet states about PF so i can see that i have alll the documents that they require. But only problem is that it also says a minimum 1year of legal presence is required as well...i just got 1year vaild EAD last month so i will be expried in 11months. Im worried if they dont accect it

Two optimistic notes:

1. 1y of legal presence may be required of those who don't have PF

2. The fact that your EAD has started already would be the case with any document of any person. They probably implied that document had to be of no less than 1y duration
