Hello everyone,

I just wanted to stop by and wish everyone the very best in their journey of having their I360 approved and finally getting their green cards. I went through the VAWA process 5 years ago, it took 20 months before my I360 was approved and today I had my bitter sweet ending when I finally became a US Citizen. I know how tough the wait can be, but just hang tight, keep praying, have faith and know that it will all work out for the best. Should anyone need advice or guidance on the process please feel free to contact me I'd be more than happy to share any info that I can. God bless you all.

Congratulations lostinNJ...finally.

Thanks for coming back to check on us, I remember you in the very first VAWA(part1). God is good.

sandranj I sent you a PM. Thanks

My-jay I read your message and I answered you. When did Uscis deny your Vawa? You may file a Notice of Appeal along with the required fee at the Vermont Service Center within 33 days of receiving the denial, and the appeal will be referred to the Administrative Appeals Office in Washington, D.C.I believe you still can have your case approved, but please give me the informations I asked you ok.

CONGRATS. I M SO HAPPY THAT ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE GETTING APPROVED . I M STILL WAITING ON MY CASE. I APPLIED IN DECEMBER 2011 .I M GLAD THAT YOU GUYS GOT APPROVED SO FAST. MY WAITING SEENS THAT WILL NEVER END. SO FAR I HAVE ASKED FOR HELP FROM 2 FLORIDA SENATORS TO INQUIRE VSC ON MY CASE AND THEY BOTH COME BACK WITH EMPTY HANDS AND WITH THE SAME ANSWERS FROM VERMONT SERVICE CENTER[ WE ARE WORKING ON JUNE 2011 CASES] SO NOW I HAVE ASKED FOR HELP FROM MY CONGRESS REPRESENTATIVE, THEY SENT IN A REQUEST ON MY CASE LAST MORE THAN A WEEK AGO AND NO ANSWER SO FAR. I M PRAYING TO GOD TO HELP ME GET TRHU THIS DIFFICULT TIME. I M SO STRESSED OUT THAT I CANT SLEEP AT NIGHT AND ITS MAKING ME LOOSE ALOT OF WEIGHT ,THE STRESS IS SO MUCH THAT EVERYTHING I EAT, I THROW UP AND HAVE HEADACHE EVERYDAY, PLUS I START TO LOOSE MY HAIR, ITS FALLING LIKE DOG HAIR. HOPE SOME GOOD NEWS COME MY WAY SOON.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.

Panama-Guy!

Please be strong and hopefull. You have come a long way my brother and your persistence and struggle demonstrates your strength.

I am here eagerly waiting since Sept 2011. I had a fourth PF automatically extended but nothing else. Given the dead silence and dread feelings, I had also got to that point but hope and persistence is the only thing we have top hold on to. Please keep me in your prayers as I do for your success.

Akumu, it sounds as if you have a ten year bar from the US that will be triggered if you leave.

When did you enter the US on your F-1? When did you get married? When did you file for VAWA?

I came to the U.S August 2009, i got married 20th 2011 July., and filed Vawa 27th 2012 March. My Father Applyed Greencard lottery on June 2011, and back then i was 20 years old. I am included on the Greencard interview. I was not Married when my father applyed for Greencard Lottery. The thing that am worried is About going to the Interviw there or i can Do something over here. The immigration Officer told me that i wount be disqualified if My Visa is expired or Not.

Did you ever apply for a green card after you were married to the US citizen? For adjustment of status based upon marriage? And when you applied for VAWA, did you file an I-485 then or just an I-360?
