indianguyyyy thank you. I am trying my best to help those in need, since 2010 till now I filed more than 150 Vawa cases (people that I met here in the Visa Journey). I did not charge any person.I had at least 60 cases approved already.I made good friends here and I attended 4 weddings. That's why we're here, after all, to help others

right?

Hi believe so you never got prima facie only your EAD?

Yep! I didn't get prima facie, but I was issued an EAD in the timeline that prima facie's are normally isssued. I did a FOIA request for my USCIS file (I wouldn't advise this as it takes a very long time), and the notation was that I had prima facie determination, and was to be issued EAD.

July 2011 - Applied for VAWA with I-765 and I-485 with fee waivers - receipt date Aug 4, 2011
August 10th 2011 - Received NOA's for all 3, fee waivers accepted
August 26th 2011 - Received EAD
Early July 2012 - Re-applied for EAD based on pending I-485
Mid July 2012 - Received NOA for 2nd EAD
August 1st 2012 - Received EAD
Silence for a few more months
October 26th 2012 - I-360 approval
November 19th '12 - Case transferred
May 2013 - Received interview notice

June 2013 - Interview (approved)

Permanent resident since June 2013

So believe in other words you getting your EAD is in place of the Prima Facie?

Peanutbutter I welcome you for a new year, full of things that have never been. Congrats. Praise the Lord.Thank you for the kind words.

Thank you Sandraj! the feeling that I have right now can't compare to anything...I fell I am free from a nightmare... Good vibes for everyone and remember PATIENCE PAYS OFF!

faithkeeper I mentioned Vawa Unit takes 16/19 months to adjudicate form I-360, to get prima facie it takes 25/35 days.

Sorry Sandra im still a little confused so getting your prima facie doesnt mean your I-360 is approved? Also can you get either your EAD or Prima Facie depending on the circumstances?

faithkeeper you can receive prima facie and have your case denied. When you receive prima facie it means you qualify to receive public benefits that is it.

As Hypnos well said vawa cases are processed in the order in which they are received, it does not matter the severity of the case.

Thanks Sandra for your patience I believe I understand what your saying......thanks Hypnos as well.
