dragonfly2013 you've ever been out of status at anytime then you can be refused entry. The DHS has always taken the position that if the individual is unlawfully present for one year and leave the United States under advance parole it triggers the 10 year bar under § 212(a)(9)(B)(i)(II), but in the Arrabaly case the BIA decided that leaving the USa under advance parole does not trigger the 10 year bar.You need to keep in mind the Arrabaly case is not a norm,it's not stated in any Uscis memorandum yet that leaving the country is not considered "departure", it was a BIA decision in Arrabaly's case.I advise you not to travel until Uscis publish something regarding this matter.

Read what the USCIS onbudsman says about travelling with advance parole:

"Travel Warning Regarding Unlawful Presence

If you were unlawfully in the United States for certain periods of time and depart the country, you may not be able to return"

Here is what Uscis say about it

"Unlawful Presence

If you depart the United States after accruing certain periods of unlawful presence in the United States (time spent in the United States illegally) you may be barred from admission for either three years or ten years, depending on the amount of unlawful presence an individual has accrued. Any departure from the United States may trigger this ground of inadmissibility, even if you have obtained an advance parole document.

If you have accrued more than 180 days, but less than 1 year, of unlawful presence and who voluntarily depart the United States before the start of removal proceedings are inadmissible if you seek admission within 3 years of the date of their departure. If you have accrued 1 year or more of unlawful presence and you depart the United States, whether or not removal proceedings have started, you are inadmissible if you seek admission within 10 years of the date of departure."

You have three congressional representatives (one in the House and two in the Senate); if you don't like what one did then try one of the others.

Why,they have to go through this again? I get my SSN easily but now to get DL is taking extra time. Don't like this at all. Anyone please help. How long it takes to get verification at DMV?
