Not all of us. Im waiting long time. In fra days it will be 2 years since i filed for VAWA. Last RFE they recived on 10/31/2012 and since then NOTHING acsept Prima Facie extentions and EAD extentions. Its driving me creazy. Even thinking of giving up everything!!!

There's no need to give up u r closer to the end compared to beginner like me. You will soon get your approval in the mail or seek congressional help as suggested by a member. I pray you fight the winnable fight to the end. Giving up is for the weak and faint hearted people. May this week bring u good news!

08/2012 Discussed my immigration issues with a lawyer

08/2012 Started gathering evidence

11/2012 Paid my deposit (forgot to sign documents)

01/2013 Signed documents

02/19/2013 Vsc received my application

02/22/2013 NOA mailed out

My lawyer has a prima facie never collected it Caz I don't need any benefit at this time.

03/05/2013 EAD mailed out (actual ead date, it will expire 03/04/2014)

03/08/2013 Lawyer received biometrics for 3/17/2013 (day after my edd, [expected due date] did early walking 3/12/13)

03/29/2013 Card in hand (lawyer received it abt a week earlier but I delivered so was unable to collect it)

Waiting for my i360 approval but I'm in no rush (good things come to those who wait)

8/14/13 i360 approved. :)

10/8/2013 aos interview. .. approved :)

10/9/2013 status adjust to lpr and welcome package mailed out.

8/15/2013 I484 transfered to local office. :)

howtosurvive, as I said u have enough for VAWA - but how's your DV resolution? U know: papers are made of paper (be that GC or restraining order), but humans are of flesh

I'm staying in my little corner until the lease expires so I can move out and get my own place. I'm job hunting even though my daughter is only two weeks old. I had to resign my job Caz he threaten to call ice on me while I was at work so my lawyer advised me to resign. I'm staying positive and optimistic to get through this perilous journey. I got my ead so I can legally work now.

How are u and ur lil ones doing.

Seriously??? Giving up on what??? You shall not be ungrateful!!! You at least have a legal status and employment authorization... I wish I had that and a ss# to be able to get a better job to support my children! What is it that you madly need? Get in and out of the country or what? Yes, a residency that leads to citizenship is every applicant dream but it takes time and at least you have ammunition to give a good fight while waiting.

Seriously, what ICE if you've been granted EAD?

That's nice kids grow so fast.

He threatened me about ice before I got my ead. He never file i130 for me.

btw, if u were ever arrested on false charges, and even if u have Court's disposition (with original of the seal) - make sure the state has entered such disposition in their record, and FBI doesn't have a (erronious) criminal record for you. Such silly state's error is not easy to correct, and may preclude any immigration application

I was never arrested. Only ever been to court on a civil charge for eviction which was eventually dropped. I was never charged in any of the domestic cases because he beat me up real bad 90% of the times. He even threatened some cops when they came to the house. He's ludicrous.

which is a reason NOT to feel well-protected by piece of paper...I hope u can see it better than outsiders. If u happen to deal with Child Protective Services, co-operate fully. Plus never rely on them to perform, you have to work hard to get everything into place for your family and keep pushing them hard. You do your part, and make them do their's

Could you explain further? what are you saying about FBI? are you talking about any arrest or what kind...im confused
