[Thank You so much for your response! It gives me peace of mind :). I can continue waiting but start all over again gave me a little shock... I hope I receive the renewal on my Prima Facie in the mean time... (This will be my 3rd one)

Citragirl they won't start all over your processing times .As soon they get your RFE answer they will place in your file and they will adjudicate your case .But everytime you get an RFE it delays a bit your case.

Thank you any help is appreciated is just that I see many people request her advise in particular. I will keep my faith alive :)

I know u asked for sandranj opinion but I guessing that once they rfe from u they put ur file on pause until they receive something in regards to the rfe then they return to ur file in the order of the adjuncators rfe. Scenario: ur adjuncator rfe five ppl and u were his third once he receive the rfes and he return to those files he will get to urs third and if the person in first and or second still had not reply by the time he goes bk to the rfe files ur would be in first place hence the reason some ppl get approved quicker than others.

Hope I helped some but sandranj will still shed light on it.

Sorry for ur long wait ur on ur home stretch now keep ur faith alive!

Hey Sandraj and everyone..,i have a question to ask.,can an International Student who has a pendind VAWA CASE get approved for FInacial Aid in College? Please help me so that i can know. Thanx

I also asked for Sandra and somebody else gave me

Response, It's my turn to return favor... I don't know if it varies by state tho, but if you have a Prima Facie letter and a social security # you can apply for financial aid ne it will last for as long as your Prima Facie is not expired. I went to ask all that but unfortunately, I don't have a ss#

Hi sandhra , last week I ask u about my case .... And u say may be any minute he adjucte my case . But after October 2011 no touch on my file . October first week is my filling date . What u give me advise I need to wait more or contact to congress person . And if I contact congress person after that vawa adjuctor or supervisor looking our case badly or no ? I hope u understand what I wanna ask from u ? U say u think he may be don't send rfe .... But my medical is expire ... Bcoz I-485 I file before 1 year vawa file . Second .... Good conduct certificate also more then 18 months old now . Basically ... When I file I-485 and I-130 together then at the interview time my wife was not coming so I go there alone and tell to the officer everything and I tell him I m going to file vawa so he transfer my case ... So after this interview near about 3 months later I file vawa like October first week 2011. I got just few weeks ago ead card and my prima facie expire march 25. So I need to send for renewal new prima facie ?

vishumfrompunjab I think you should contact your congress person now. They won’t look at your case bad at all because you requested your representative help.

I don’t remember saying that they may not send you an RFE, they can send an RFE to anyone if they think is missing some document or if the case need more proof of bonafide marriage or regarding the violence. I saw several cases after vawa approval that Uscis asked some people to do the medical exam again, because the alien had the medical exam done more than 1 year ago.

You can ask to renew your prima facie now.

Macbook, you should contact a congressional representative since you are beyond the listed processing times for a VAWA I-360.
