My case was updated today and they said once they receive response to the RFE a processing period will begin... I am so sad I have been waiting 12 months already... I thought I was 7 away from a decision...

I know u asked for sandranj opinion but I guessing that once they rfe from u they put ur file on pause until they receive something in regards to the rfe then they return to ur file in the order of the adjuncators rfe. Scenario: ur adjuncator rfe five ppl and u were his third once he receive the rfes and he return to those files he will get to urs third and if the person in first and or second still had not reply by the time he goes bk to the rfe files ur would be in first place hence the reason some ppl get approved quicker than others.

Hope I helped some but sandranj will still shed light on it.

I M WAITING FOR 17 MONTHS as today. should I contact them about my case? no RFE NO touch nothing on my case. Its just a long silence that is killing me. I m so tired of waiting..... any advice SANDRA? please.

Citragirl they won't start all over your processing times .As soon they get your RFE answer they will place in your file and they will adjudicate your case .But everytime you get an RFE it delays a bit your case.

Panama you should contact your congress person and just yesterday i got 5 answers from Vawa Unit regarding 05 cases that i asked the congress person to request information because they were taking forever.

I think Sandranj suggested before that you bring what u had; and if they had your VAWA approved based on what you'd had - then they must've confirmed his status internally

I saw a vawa applicant saying something in that sense so I needed clarity.

In regards to the flag; I felt too open and public need to be more anonymous because I don't know who lurks around this sit and thread.
