Hello everyone. I just filed VAWA last week. Lawyer said that uscis should have my paperwork now.

I was just wondering how long does it take to get a receipt notice or PRIMA FACIE. PLEASE tell me how long you got yours.

I really want to apply for financial aid. And start school. THANK YOU!

No I'm talking people that filed everything together. They seemed to get interview quicker.

I did all of that. Infopass, Congress person, calls..everythhing. And all they keep saying is to wait wait wait.

I think it's just who has ur case cause someone here said they friend file seperatly and sent it through Chicago lock box and got interview within 4/5 months. But that person also paid the fees. Did u send to vsc or paid fees. Do u have attorney. I hope I don't have to wait that long god help us

HI EVERYONE IF IT MAKE ANYONE HERE HAPPIER , THEY JUST UPDATED THE USCIS WEBPAGE AND IT SHOWS THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON CaseS RECEIVED IN NOVEMBER 2011. I APPLIED IN DECEMBER 2011 SO I HAVE MY HOPES HIGH THAT SOON THEY WILL LOOK AT MY CASE.
