Hi guys,

I just have a question on how to calculate household income. For the fee waiver your income must be at or below 150% poverty line.

My household size is 2 just me and my husband. For calculating the income do I have to include his income or just my income? On our last year tax return we filed jointly.

My income alone is below 150% but with his income its above poverty line which means we dont qualify.

Can I just use my income alone even if we filed joint return last year?? Please help as We cant afford to pay the filing fee at the moment.

My current income alone is $19,200/yr based on my weekly pay which is below the poverty guideline for household size 2

According to the instructions for form I-912 you must include your spouse's income if you filed joint taxes.
