Timeline

Military Expedite yes.

My wife and i are both military and we're still waiting

Met : March 2012 in Afghanistan

Married : August 22,2012 in Belgium

USCIS

Califonia Service Center

Sep 24,2012 - I-130 send to Phoenix Lockbox

Sep 26,2012 - I-130 NOA1

Oct 04,2012 - I-130 case transferred from CSC to NBC Missouri

Oct 10,2012 - I-130 case transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office

Jan 23, 2013 - I-130 approved!!!

Jan 28, 2013 - NVC received case

People you see on visa journey that are processed very quickly are usually military. The military receives special privleges over the rest of us and they should!

Agree! They should be approved on the spot! And not to wait for too long.. They're the ones who protect our country . :thumbs: to them

Very wrong

Your petition arrives at the service center, is recorded in the system and boxed with the others. It stays in a box until an adjudicator opens it and processes it. It is approved about 11 minutes after it is taken out of the box (I-130 average)

No one knows your immigration status or how you obtained citizenship until they open the box to adjudicate it. Makes absolutely no difference whatsoever

A naturalized citizen is a citizen. Period. Except for running for President of the USA there is no difference in rights or privileges.

I am Naturalized USC and i got my NOA2 within 45 day from my NOA1. I think it depend on the case

Marriage: 2012-07-20 in Morocco

2012-09-07: I-130 Sent

2012-09-11: USCIS Received

2012-09-14: I-130 NOA1

2012-09-14: transferred to NBC

2912-09-24: transferred to local office

2012-10-29: I-130 Approved (45 days)

2012-11-07: NVC Received (9 days)

2012-11-08: Return Completed DS-3032

2012-11-09: Received DS-3032 / I-864 Bill

2012-11-10: Pay I-864 Bill

2012-11-22: Receive I-864 Package

2012-11-27: Received IV Bill

2012-11-29: Pay IV Bill

2012-12-01: Return Completed I-864

2012-12-01: IV Packet Sent

2012-12-13: AOS package accepted

2013-01-10: IV Accepted

2013-01-10: Case Completed at NVC

2013-01-31: Received Instruction Package

2013-03-06: Interview Date

2013-03-08: Visa Receive
