My observation for normal I-130 processing.. Recently and faster approved cases were those of US-born petitioners and not much or still no one from cases of Naturalized USC (like me).. But I could be very wrong..

Just curious though,.. What do you guys think?!

I would not presume to say your perception is incorrect but before the USCIS a natural citizen and a naturalized one are no different in the eyes of the USCIS for the purpose of family petitions.

Yeah, thats what I thought. We all go through the same processing times. But looking at the trend here, those who got their NOA2's in just 54/70 days from NOA1 were all US-born petitioners.

OR maybe some VJ members just did not update their timelines due to their busy schedules..

Hmmm... I know we're all trying to figure this thing out, but I don't think that's it. Since the petitions are being processed at local offices, each office has their own processing times. The VJ members who have gotten approved already have been processed at offices that don't have as heavy a workload as other offices.

For the record, I'm a US born petitioner, and I'm still waiting. I was transferred to a local office, presumably the one in Atlanta. I haven't seen any NOA2s on this forum for cases transferred to Atlanta as yet.

I am a US born citizen as well, still waiting on my NOA2.I do not know where is the local USCIS office where we got transfered because we filed from abroad and we put our foreign address on all the forms.I think it is either still at NBC or maybe they sent it to a local office based on where we intend to live when we actually go there. Hopefully our NOA2 comes soon :)

Very wrong

Your petition arrives at the service center, is recorded in the system and boxed with the others. It stays in a box until an adjudicator opens it and processes it. It is approved about 11 minutes after it is taken out of the box (I-130 average)

No one knows your immigration status or how you obtained citizenship until they open the box to adjudicate it. Makes absolutely no difference whatsoever

A naturalized citizen is a citizen. Period. Except for running for President of the USA there is no difference in rights or privileges.

It's amazing to me that 11 minutes is all it takes and some people wait up to a year to get some answer! I know there are a lot of aplicants out there and that ppl here are only a handfull of what they get per day/month/year.They should put more ppl to work in USCIS offices :D

I think it has to do with what office they were sent to, the I-129F that I cancelled but they processed anyway took almost 6 months to NOA2. I'm a natural born US citizen and we had no red flags that I know of. Some of the people who filed the same week as me got approvals in 3 or 4 months.

This is just conjecture, but they might just look at the application a wee bit more closely when they eventually get around to processing it. However, I think the whole processing time is just a ####### shoot.

I dont know the answer to that but reading the" Halk scale" by the waiver atty it does say US born citizens are given more points

over Naturalized even though they are supposed to be equal citizens, it went on to say hardshops under 11 points R usually

not approved so the Born USC petitioner does have a point advantage over the naturalized....Dont know if this is gospel but

makes one wonders.

People you see on visa journey that are processed very quickly are usually military. The military receives special privleges over the rest of us and they should!
