They send the package back because i didn't send the check i call them and told them that i was a c-9 case and that it was free because my aos still pending. They told me to wait for a letter and send the package again.

Did you include a copy of NOA1 from 485?

No. i called before sending the package because the noa was completely destroyed because it was raining the day i got it. I ask them if they could send me a copy but i was told that with the Biometrics appointment will be good to prove that that your GC still pending. So that's what i did.

i received NOA a week or so after mailing my renewal package. i also included biometrics letters and responses to previous service requests regarding my i-485 as i stupidly sent the original NOA with my AOS package. doh! fingers crossed this will be acceptable, again i called and explained and they said it should be fine, but one hand doesn't know what the other is doing at uscis, so i wouldn't be surprised if i have to shell out $400 for a new copy.

i have my own photography business established now and am having to turn down working for the new year as my card expires jan 14th and so far i have no idea if i'll be able to legally work after that. i have clients booked for march through to december next year and i have no idea if i'll be able to do it - this is people's wedding photos i'm supposed to take, i don't want to, and can't afford to mess them around. i never thought it would come to this, having done everything the correct and legal way. meanwhile people who applied months and months later already have their green cards! i'm so mad i can't even tell you.

oh, and my first ever niece or nephew is due to be born in england in january and i won't be able to go see him/her (we don't know yet!) until.... who knows. not a happy kitty.

i know this is totally stupid, i just hope that i get the noa copy to send all again . his expired February 2 he cant loose his job we have a 5 month baby and we definitely need the money . lest just hope that everything turn ok.

Once you get the NOA, can you apply for an expedited EAD renewal? I know that economic hardship is one of the categories you can choose for expediting it.

How do you apply for an expedite ?

Call USCIS and request for expedite. Tell them you need it expedited due to him losing his job because gc not approve after one year. You need a letter from his job that states, he will be terminated without gc or ead. Then you fax it to theem. They will send you a letter of where to fax it.

well guys here are the news now . They said that if you apply for the AP/EAD together with the I-485 there not guarantee even with the noa that they will process the AP/EAD free because they arlready gave you AP/EAD free and for a renewal you have to pay the fee

Yes, I explained that I had previously mistakenly sent in the original copy of the noa1 and so they should actually have it on file and I was sending biometrics letter and request for initial evidence relating to my i485 which serves the same purpose of proving i have a pending case.

I called this morning and was told the average processing time is 75 days right now for i765. after 75 days you can submit a service request.

Yes they send me the noa thanks god and i also got the interview app i-485 iw for January 21st

We just got our approval for renewal EAD/AP tuesday. Which took about 45 days. We made an info appointment for Monday.
