On July 9, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

We filed an e-request since we are past the 6 month timeline. Now today a letter saying to give them another 6 months to reply! What a joke.

Ok just checked the processing times for my field office and in may 31st they were processing december 8th cases..

I guess im gonna have to ask for a service request O=/
I was patiently waiting but now i'm no disappointed.. oh well

Still nothing for us. The Dallas office now says it's working November 20th applications, but that information is current as of the end of May. So Dallas appears to be working one case every two or three days or so. Christ I really get the feeling I should have just done this illegally and things would have been a lot quicker

Yes....news....I just called to USCIS AGAIN.....and I have been told that my case is still pending. So the woman from USCIS offered me to gave me an e-mail where I can write about my case and to ask a response (21 day waiting for answer ) or service request AGAIN (30 days waiting for answer ). So I choose first option. Then she saw that actually my case is still in NBC not in local USCIS office and she gave me another e-mail ( SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov) and told me that they have to answer for 10 days . So now I am writing my mail and we will see .....

Good luck. I emailed before and did not receive any response! I seriously don't know what they're doing w/all the applications. I don't know why they even have a service center where you can call when all the answers they give are BS and so generic! Those people should just be working on applications. Such a waste of time for them and us!

I hope that I'll have good response after 10 days ....if not...I think to call them again and to want to speak with upper level officer....or may be to make an appointment for Info Pass!?!

hi mladen,

yes, when i call USCIS i automatically ask to speak to a an immigration representative as i'm tired of hearing the same things over and over --- but doesn't make it any better when you're speaking to a "higher leverl officer". First they tell you that the wait is long but i tell them i'd wait. so they transfer you, and then because of the long wait, they will ask for a call back number. They will call you back usually after 60-75 mins depending on how many calls they have i guess. Some agents are more informative than others, but again - all pretty much have the same response. I have asked for a service request, and they said i should hear something by july 31st. i will call again this week for another service request and see if they will at least give me the same info of hearing something by July 31.

Checked my status an hour ago, still in Acceptance, just got an email that our cards are in production!

Me and my kiddies are accepted!!!!!
