Yes it was at NBC and our interview is actually in Bloomington, MN. Also, many K-1'ers from previous months and November still waiting to hear something so i'm thinking were lucky..

Interview yesterday and Green Card approved. Abs went in first for about 45 minutes and then I was called in alone for 30 minutes. Officer ended up telling me he was going to approve her. Strange interview but approved so oh well..

Two e-mails today, card is in production.

So my local office finally updated its timeframe and is currently working on cases recieved November 22nd!

I'm still assuming that our case is at NBC at this point....

Well..., it's been 15 working days since a service request was filed, so I rang USCIS back as I had not received anymore information. I was told today that they are now working on Nov 29th petitions, great....they have moved forward 13 days since my last call. HOWEVER they are experiencing an extremely large case load and needed another 30 working days to reply to my service request!

I was told to call back on July 13th if I still do not receive anything. Arrrggggghhhh!

Ou noooo ...I also was told to call back after 15 days on July 2^th if I still don't receive letter for interview appointment from USCIAS. I really hope that next few days I'll receive it.

Well for me there's a big fat nothing. USCIS case status for Dallas didn't update at all this month and the last update shows them at October 25th petitions. And this is as of April 30th. So yeah I don't get to even put a service request in until that page changes to show that it's past the processing times, I am fresh out of luck.

Oooohhhhh, I think I rang too early! (2.30pm on 15th day of service request) as a women from the Manchester, NH office rang me at 4.30pm, saying she has my case, but before she can adjudicate it, she needs me to get a police clearance letter as my second set of fingerprints couldn't be read either (maybe they could have told me this 6 months ago!!!).

I then have to take this letter to the NH office and do a sworn statement and then she could process my case.

She said, and I quote "thats all you have to do honey, I'm not going to interview you, so the sooner you get that letter here, you'll then have your green card 2 weeks later''

WooHoo!!!!

Ofcourse it's another 1hr 50min drive to my 'local' office, but great news

Hey guys,

I've been out for a while and just today opened the forum to check how is it going with your process... I just can't believe that there are still people waiting for interview! I must have been absolutely lucky then!!! And its not only that this process is ridiculous but without this Green card we are still nobody here! I couldn't even update my bank account before I got mine!

I was just wondering is there any of you trying to go through this process without attorney or some strange circumstances about your cases! It just seems to me crazy how some people have finished 3 months ago and you are still waiting! I know they had some changes in the immigration law and got a lot of cases at the same time after that but it still sounds crazy! And I can't believe that there is no way to keep them responsible for all that waiting!

Still nothing for us too. Our local office (NYC) shows they are processing application from October 3 (last updated April 30 as well). Our medical exam is now expired so I am assuming that once they do get to our case, they will send us a RFE. So frustrating!!

I think most of us that are waiting are adjusting from K-1 visas. Since K-1 applicants all have to be interviewed before entering the US, USCIS does not always interview them again during the AOS process. Unfortunately, this does not expedite the process but usually makes it longer.

The medical exam has to be current as of date of your first NOA, not approval. Otherwise pretty much everyone waiting would have to submit a new medical in the end.
