I signed up for email notifications only, no texts. I only received an email with the receipt numbers right after sending my application. For all other status updates I had to check the website. I have no clue why my notifications don't seem to be working.

I suggest calling them too. I called them last week and after a couple of days I got approvals and my interview appointment. I received an I797C for my interview in the mail this afternoon.

My daughter signed up for both email and text notifications, 3 different forms attached to each of the applications. She has not received ANY notifications at all. Makes me wonder why we bothered with them. I check the website daily and that's how we keep up to date on what's happening.

So guys just want to let you know I received ead card in the mail on Saturday at noon. Hubby got the mail and there it was priority mail from USCIS. Yay!

Day 00: Nov/20/12: AOS Package sent(all Forms)

Nov/23/12: at 9:27 A.M.Package signed and recieved

Nov/29/12: Check cashed

Dec/03/12: Recieved Receipts and Biometrics appointment

Dec/20/12: Biometrics appointment

Jan/2/13. : received email an text. Ready for Testing and interview

Jan/23/13: text and email that EAD and AP approved!!!! Yes!!!!!!!

Day 70: Jan/29/13: Card/Document Production

Day 73: Feb/01/13: Recieved EAD card.

Day 101: recieved text/email that AOS interview is April 2nd.

Day--- : AOS approved for green card. Got stamp in passport.

Did you have to speak to a tier two person? Is it difficult to get through? Thinking of trying my luck today.

Can I ask how long it took to get the card from when you received the e-mail that the combo card was approved?

I called them to the number listed on the "My case status" explanation text: National Customer Service Center (NCSC) 1-800-375-5283. I talked to a tier 1 representative, the first person that picked up assisted me during the entire call. Super easy to get through, I called around 6 PM CST.

Till yesterday my 485 status was at Acceptance

Today when i checked my 485 status it says

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production (post decision activity)

Is this 1st status after acceptance status? People who got thier Interview approved please help me to understand this...

I just don't want to celebrate because of some wrong update from USCIS.

Time line

Oct 2009- got Married

June 2010- POE Newark H1B

July 2012 Perm applied

Sep 2012 Perm approved

Oct 2012 Medical evaluation with Civil Surgeon. TB skin test & Blood test cleared.

Nov – 6 2012 My attorney submitted I 140 & I 485 for me and 485 for my wife

Nov - 8 2012 Texas Center received the application

Nov - 14 2012 NOA sent

Nov - 19 2012 NOA for AOS , AP, EAD received for me and my wife

Nov - 21 2012 Biometric appointment notice received (appointmnet Date Dec-12-2012)

Dec - 01 2012 Got a text and email that my AP and EAD are approved and Card in production

Dec - 03 2012 Another text and email that my AP and EAD are approved and Card in production

Dec - 05 2012 (6 am) Got a text that they have mailed my card to the address on my file

Dec - 05 2012 (6 pm) Got a text that USPS has picked up my card and will be delivered in 7 days

Dec - 06 2012 (3 am) Got a Text and email that my Case is approved an notice has been Mailed

Dec - 07 2012 Got my EAD card in Mail

Dec - 12 2012 to Jan-03-2012 India Trip

Feb - 01 2013 I 140 Approved.
