I spoke to the Dept of Homeland security And the DPS HQ in Austin today and FINALLY, Austin said that they did receive my verification on Jan 29 and that it is just taking them a long time to process the verification into Texas' system. The Cheif Auditor of all things Drivers Licenses assuered me that I will have a drivers license in hand by TUesday and gave me her direct line contact number incase I dont hear from her department by tuesday. This gives me some peace :)

Wanna hear the funny part?

My daughter is a November filer and she hasn't received an interview date yet. Her status changed to "testing and interview" on Jan 10th.

Granted, she is adjusting from a K-1 so who knows what will happen.

Hope you hear something soon!
