Thank you so much for your advice!

I know, I will not leave until I have it in hand and everything is correct. I have read a lot of bad stories about it, so I am really scared of taking unnecessary risks.

Thank you again!

I've heard that once approved you can request to get the stamp in your passport on the spot, especially if you have scheduled travel arrangements that you can prove. just take an itinerary with you.

whoohoo........AGAIN  Just checked onlineand my daughter's EAD shows "card document production".

She's been a little concerned because they have not received an email or text for any of the progress on their case. We sent in 3 different forms for notification, one for each of the applications. Wonder why they are not getting any notices?

Anyways, this is one happy Mama

I have to say, we are very fortunate, as we are only 2 1/2 hours away from her and go visit every 2 - 3 weeks and spend the weekend. I can't imagine not seeing her at all, this whole time. She is ready, though, to come home for a vistit. I think it's the whole idea of not being able to, even if she wanted.

Acto99, any word on movement for your case yet??

We're done! My kiddos and I had our interviews this morning. I had originals and copies of everything, and hardly needed any of it. I had to show the kids' original birth certificates, and handed in some wedding photos and 2 utility bills... and that's it!

I don't know where I missed the memo, but I didn't realize that our AP would be invalid once the I-94s were removed from the passports today. Ack! Especially since we have flights to Canada booked for 2 weeks from now! No worries though. The officer put our approvals into the system immediately and then we got stamps in our passports to show our permanent resident status, so we can travel without any trouble.

Whew. Such a relief to have this all done with. Nothing to worry about until ROC in 2 years now.

I hope it's the same smooth sailing for those still waiting!

The K-1 Visa journey for myself and my two K-2 children:

K-1: NOA1 2011-8-10; NOA2 2012-1-12; Interview 2012-4-24; Visa issued 2012-9-17; POE (Sarnia) 2012-9-26; Wedding! 2012-10-02
AOS: NOA1 2012-11-20; Biometrics 2012-12-14; AP/EAD approved 2013-1-11; Interview 2013-1-31; 2-yr Green cards in hand 2013-2-9 (101 days total)

ROC: NOA1 11-7-14; Biometrics 12-1-14; 10-yr Green cards ordered 4-13-15! (157 days total)

Counting down to naturalization time!

I'm interested to know how they deal with the kids since I have 3 going through the process!

The interview was really easy. I was a bit worried, since we all got notices for 3 separate appointment times (though all in a row). They called us all in together and went through my file/documentation first. That took the longest. Then he went through the kids's files. My kids are both under 14, so they didn't get sworn in or asked any of the "interview" questions (have you been arrested, trained by the military, etc). He just wanted to know if they had left the country since our K1/K2 entry and if they were attending school. Easy peasy. Good luck!

Awesome and congrats... Still no word or movement on the site. It took them two weeks to process our packet after sending it in.. Also, it appears the early walk-in 2 weeks early didn't do anything.. Just patiently waiting, but need to get that AP soon so we can leave....
