Wow! congrats on your approval, k24!

Yesterday I called customer service because I hadn't heard about my EAD/AP or interview date since the online status were updated back in Jan 3rd. The representative that I got to talk to was super nice. For some reason my email notifications aren't working so I have been logging in to the case status website to keep track of my forms. She told me that I should have received an appointment notification by now and if I don't receive one in the next 2 weeks I should call back. This afternoon I checked my status again and my EAD/AP had been approved!!! Still no email notifications or anything, but I feel my application is finally moving again.

I suggest do not bring your lawyer during the interview. My other friend got denied because the lawyer was too arrogant with the inmigration officer.

Also i noticed that the other rooms, interview was longer when they were with the lawyers, so more questions

Our lawyer said that she only goes with those who have complicated cases or there are any issues surrounding a case.

We'll be going without our lawyer.

My kiddos and I will be having our interviews in 12 hours. My paperwork is all set to go, but holy moly the nerves have started. If I sleep tonight it will be a miracle!

Congratulations to those interview approvals!! Good luck CADreamer! I'm sure you'll be reporting back good news in a few hours

Heard on the news this morning that the Immigration office in Detroit is among those that are closing. This is where my daughter would have interviewed.

Her application was at NBC and on Jan 10, her AOS status changed to "testing and interview". I'm really hoping that none of the paperwork was transferred already. That just gives more of a chance of being "misplaced". Really hoping since she's a K-1, from Canada that possibly they'll just get approved without and interview.

Wondering where they'll have to go now if they do have an inteview......... Chicago maybe??
