EAD/AP card mailed this morning. :luv: i485 still in RFE response review.

So guys just want to let you know I received ead card in the mail on Saturday at noon. Hubby got the mail and there it was priority mail from USCIS. Yay!

Just got the email that my EAD and AP was approved!

Congrats I got mine approved this morning.

AOS

Day 00: Nov/20/12: AOS Package sent(all Forms)

Nov/23/12: at 9:27 A.M.Package signed and recieved

Nov/29/12: Check cashed

Dec/03/12: Recieved Receipts and Biometrics appointment

Dec/20/12: Biometrics appointment

Jan/2/13. : received email an text. Ready for Testing and interview

Jan/23/13: text and email that EAD and AP approved!!!! Yes!!!!!!!

Day 70: Jan/29/13: Card/Document Production

Day 73: Feb/01/13: Recieved EAD card.

Day 101: recieved text/email that AOS interview is April 2nd.

Day--- : AOS approved for green card. Got stamp in passport.

Just got an update! My EAD card was sent this morning, so probably they will pick it up tomorrow and I will have tracking number assigned! Can't wait!!! Next step is getting DL! I was wondering can I just get an American DL based on my Bulgarian one or I need to take the test here? Probably they will ask me to take the test because my DL is in Bulgarian and I don't have International one! Well I don't have choice! Will study a little bit! Haven't done it for a while :D

For DL You have to check in DMV for your state. Two months ago my husband called to DMV in South Carolina and they told him that I can drive with my Bulgarian DL 1 year.

In Alabama is the same. I was allowed to drive with my Bulgarian DL for 1 year during my J1 visa. My visa expired long time ago and my Bulgarian DL is from the old ones (only in Bulgarian :) Its not a big deal anyway because the written and the road test are $28 here and the DL is free after that! I need to spend the whole day in DMV :(

I do have a tracking # and the last said that it departed a processing center in KY and to expect delivery by Jan 24. :( I'm just upset bc I was REALLY excited for it today

Thank you for saying that. I'm so ready to get my life moving lol (as i'm sure everyone on here is :) ) yes, we are very blessed! I have been reading threads from as far back as July and some people are still stuck in acceptance at CSS :/

Yes and no, I have jobs lined up and I don't know how long they will hold those positions open for me, it has been 1 month after graduation and I know that sounds like a short time but I live in a teeeny tiny town and jobs in my field are hard to come by. The only thing that is holding me back is that I dont have a social # and without that cannot run a back ground check :(
