ok, can i please ask if anyone knows why some have ead but no interview date but some have interview date and no ead?

So far only Sarah got approved for EAD for November filers. So don't worry about it. But some people have their interview schedule and there EAD probably will come before the interview.

AOS

Day 00: Nov/20/12: AOS Package sent(all Forms)

Nov/23/12: at 9:27 A.M.Package signed and recieved

Nov/29/12: Check cashed

Dec/03/12: Recieved Receipts and Biometrics appointment

Dec/20/12: Biometrics appointment

Jan/2/13. : received email an text. Ready for Testing and interview

Jan/23/13: text and email that EAD and AP approved!!!! Yes!!!!!!!

Day 70: Jan/29/13: Card/Document Production

Day 73: Feb/01/13: Recieved EAD card.

Day 101: recieved text/email that AOS interview is April 2nd.

Day--- : AOS approved for green card. Got stamp in passport.

Got online ead approval guys!

So guys just want to let you know I received ead card in the mail on Saturday at noon. Hubby got the mail and there it was priority mail from USCIS. Yay!

I think it's possible that if you have an early interview, you just get the green card and they never send an ead... It's not really necessary I suppose if you're interview is so soon.. I would definitely trade my ead for a fast interview! Either way is pretty fast processing time.

Does anyone know if I can start working now? Or do I have to have the card? I already have a social security number, I assume I will get a new ss card from the DMV when I go to get an id.

I was an f1 student and had work authorization due to financial hardship in the past.

This is me just being curious so please dont feel like you have to answer.

I was a F1 student too, AOS for Green Card, petitioner is my husband.

I was wondering if your work experince was work study or if you worked off campus :)

April 2- Biometrics completed

August 24- Update from USICS "My card is being produced"

September 3- Green Card in Hand!

Nov 5- Medical evaluation with Civil Surgeon. TB skin test & Blood test administered
Nov 7- Medically cleared. I 693 form sign and sealed
Day 0 Nov 9- AOS Package delivered to Chicago. Signed by S. Bush at 10:26 C.T
Day 5 Nov 14- Email/ text notifications received at 21:17 C.T (Official receipt notice Form I 797 to follow in mail)
Day 7 Nov 16- Checks cleared
Day10 Nov 19- I- 797C (for I 130, I 485, I 131 & I 765) Received in hard copy mail
Day 17 Nov 26- I- 797C (for Biometrics appointment) Received in hard copy mail
Day 19 Nov 28- Walk-in Biometrics attempt: Successful. Lubbock, TX ASC. 1000-1013
Day 71 Jan 19- I- 797C Interview appointment letter. Feb 19 at local USCIS field office
Day 77 Jan 29- EAD/AP combo card received. DPS unable to issue renewal or license. S.A.V.E verification required

Why not? My wife got her SS card right away.. We have used her number for bank accounts, health insurance, beneficiary ect....

27 January 2012: Mailed I-129F

03 February 2012: NOA1( e-mail & Text)

03 February 2012: Check Cashed

NO RFE'S

22 June 2012 : NOA2 (e-mail & Text)

16 July 2012: Manila Case Number(by phone)

17 July 2012: Interview paid at BPI

19 July 2012: Set interview for Mid-Aug

23-24 July 2012: Medical St. Lukes(passed)

24 July 2012: CFO Seminar(had to go next morning for landline #)- PASSED

02 Aug 2012: Received e-mail from USEM our case is there.

15 Aug 2012: Interview at USEM - APPROVED

13 SEP 2012: POE Minneapolis, MN

27 OCT 2012: Married

19 NOV 2012: AOS package sent

05 DEC 2012: NOA's I-765, I-131, I-485

14 DEC 2012: Biometrics appointment finished(Walk-in..Was scheduled Jan 04 2013)

02 FEB 2013: I-131 and I-765 Approved

07 FEB 2013: USPS Picked up the combo-card

11 FEB 2013: Received Combo-card

21 FEB 2013: Transit Visa picked up in Chicago for Japan

Yes I had my SSN from I was in college because I worked with an EAD opt.

EAD/ AP & I130 is still in initial review but who the hell cares!!!!!!! Movement !!!! WOOHOOOOOOO

Added bonus: No RFEs!

Quick question: Am I right to say that once pass initial review the chances of RFEs are low ? (for I485)TIA
