They will schedule interview only if everything is absolutely fine with your case. All the RFEs will be mailed before the interview notice and even if they get lost in the mail you will see the request in your case status not "Testing and interview".

I already responded to the rfe that's why I said I'm waiting for the interview time.

oh that's why! my interview is 60 days after i filed! darn, i was hoping for my ead before tax season

I think a lot of us might start getting approved for EAD which I'm really hoping for cause a job closes next week lol lol. I looked at last year November filers and most of them got approve the second week in jan and got theirs in the middle of jan. the 17th most did

I've heard squat which.. given the speed people are getting letters sent out is starting to really concern me. The online case status still says 'acceptance' as well. At least you're an RFE response which if I remember correctly says that a decision has to be made within a certain number of days, so you certainly can't be far out!

Happy to see other Nov filers moving ahead, getting interview dates.

We, unfortunately are in RFE response. They received it back on Dec 21, so we're supposed to hear within 60 days.

If I'd have followed my instincts, we wouldn't have gotten an RFE..........but woulda coulda shoulda, right?

We'll just wait patiently, since hope of my daughter being able to come home to visit the beginning of Feb doesn't look like a reality now

I got my EAD even Before I140 got approved. Still it is in initial Review stage.

Is there anyone in a similar Situation?

Has anyone who has AOS from work (employment) got Interview dates?

Time line

Oct 2009- got Married

June 2010- POE Newark H1B

July 2012 Perm applied

Sep 2012 Perm approved

Oct 2012 Medical evaluation with Civil Surgeon. TB skin test & Blood test cleared.

Nov – 6 2012 My attorney submitted I 140 & I 485 for me and 485 for my wife

Nov - 8 2012 Texas Center received the application

Nov - 14 2012 NOA sent

Nov - 19 2012 NOA for AOS , AP, EAD received for me and my wife

Nov - 21 2012 Biometric appointment notice received (appointmnet Date Dec-12-2012)

Dec - 01 2012 Got a text and email that my AP and EAD are approved and Card in production

Dec - 03 2012 Another text and email that my AP and EAD are approved and Card in production

Dec - 05 2012 (6 am) Got a text that they have mailed my card to the address on my file

Dec - 05 2012 (6 pm) Got a text that USPS has picked up my card and will be delivered in 7 days

Dec - 06 2012 (3 am) Got a Text and email that my Case is approved an notice has been Mailed

Dec - 07 2012 Got my EAD card in Mail

Dec - 12 2012 to Jan-03-2012 India Trip
