The interview notice landed in both mine and my lawyers mailbox today!

It was daunting to read the list of stuff to bring at first :blink: , but then I got my lawyers email about what to bring (it made me feel better). :thumbs:

My hubby and I will start prepping our interview binder this upcoming weekend to make sure we are ready for Feb 1st!

Wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR and hoping that the new year will bring you good tidings (aka interview notices from USCIS ASAP)! :dance:

So guys just want to let you know I received ead card in the mail on Saturday at noon. Hubby got the mail and there it was priority mail from USCIS. Yay!

Making some progress. I got a text and email last night saying that my I-485 is ready for testing and interview scheduling. Thank god all I need now is my EAD.

AOS

Day 00: Nov/20/12: AOS Package sent(all Forms)

Nov/23/12: at 9:27 A.M.Package signed and recieved

Nov/29/12: Check cashed

Dec/03/12: Recieved Receipts and Biometrics appointment

Dec/20/12: Biometrics appointment

Jan/2/13. : received email an text. Ready for Testing and interview

Jan/23/13: text and email that EAD and AP approved!!!! Yes!!!!!!!

Day 70: Jan/29/13: Card/Document Production

Day 73: Feb/01/13: Recieved EAD card.

Day 101: recieved text/email that AOS interview is April 2nd.

Day--- : AOS approved for green card. Got stamp in passport.

Anyone has a clue where the NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER is?

Biometric appointment: 12-20-2012

Interview ready for scheduling: 12-27-2012

Congrats!!!!!

The interview will be at your local USCIS Office.

The NBC is just where they have been processing our paperwork and then they'll send it to the local office for the interview!

looks like everyone is making some progress except for me... I am still waiting for my biometrics letter :( I rang them when I hit 30 days and got a letter on Saturday (sent to me that same day I rang so they email the request for me)saying that I am still within the processing time... I see no reason for me not getting the appointment yet. I was surprised to get a letter that quickly though, looks like they are trying hard now...the waiting continuous for me :(

It looks like this fee will apply to us because we most likely are to receive our LPR card after Feb 1.

It looks like that applies if you're applying for AOS when you are out of he country such as when you are doing a CR1

I don't think this applies to us - I don't see anywhere saying that they are going to retro-actively try to collect the fee.

It looks like it only applies for those who get Consular Processing outside the US starting Feb 1.
