Yay! Just got an email that my case is ready for interview scheduling. Belated Xmas gift, or early New Year's present, I am loving it either way ))))))

I think the AOS interview will be at local USCIS office.

I have a question. The USCIS won't schedule I-485 interview if an RFE is or will be issued, correct?

Right. I submitted a rfe last week that's now in response review.. I'm hoping this isn't going to delay my ead. I submitted i485 and everything on November 5, biometrics at the start of December and rfe completed. Just hoping I have my interview scheduled soon, you guys are having a really fast outcome! That's great, anyone got anymore updates?

I have a job waiting for me since my work visa expired!!! I don't know what is taking them so long! I know most of you in this forum came with K1 visas, but I have been here for more than 16 months!!! They got my fingerprints when I got my first visa and I have a SSN which they can run in any system in the country to check my background, bank accounts, taxes, insurance and whatever they want for my new work permit!!! I thought they need all this time just to make sure that I am not a criminal or something! I hope our EAD cards will be approved soon because I can't wait to get back to my normal life!
