So guys just want to let you know I received ead card in the mail on Saturday at noon. Hubby got the mail and there it was priority mail from USCIS. Yay!

My wife went to a job interview today. She gave them

Her EAD card, SS card, Passport and marriage cert. They entered all her info in the computer with her A number and she didn't come up in the system. Then he told her she needs another identification card with her picture because of this. Ha anyone heard of this?

hmm shouldn't be case, EAD and passport should be enough..does she have a drivers license from your state? EAD/GC should do it though ...

Day 11/14 Mailed AOS Package

Day 11/16 AOS Package Accepted

Day 11/20 Received Text with receipt numbers

Day 11/21 Checks cashed

Day 11/26 -Letter for Biometrix - its on 12/20

Day 12/20/ went to do biometrics, turn away as wife has a cut on thumb - will try to walk in next week

Day 12/28 - bio metrics done ! - walked in San Diego as we were visiting my in laws.

Day 1/4/2013 - received text/email that case is ready to be scheduled for interview !

Day 1/15/2013 - received hard copy letter to let us know interview is on 2/12 !

Day 1/17/2013 - received text/email that EAD has been approved

Day 1/26/2013 - received EAD card

Day 2/12 - interview done - approved on spot!

No drivers license yet. I guess the problem is when they checked her work eligibility on the government site, there was no info on her. I went to check and the same thing. So going to call SS admin and USCIS right now. Always something...

EAD is married name and passport maidan name.. Yes they can check her status. Our bank did that as well when she arrived, but she wasn't in there yet. EAD should be enough..

I'm thinking (and hoping) that this theory seems to be true, everyone but UK K1's are getting interview's. I've heard nothing and I filed at the end of October.

Oh well, back to waiting :blink:

No worries there. I am also on K1 visa (which already expired long time ago) and I am not from UK. I submitted my AOS back on October 30th, had my bio done at the end of November. Didn't hear back from USCIS since then. I submitted my AOS to Chicago IL but looks like my paperwork were transferred to MO for some reason, don't ask me why. Maybe someone here on VJ knows why they transfer the papers to different field office?

Hey guys I got my green card approved yesterday in Bloomington,mn. Went really smooth. I was in and out in about 6 - 9 mins. It went way better than I thought. I left the interview and the guy told me I can come back and get a stamp in my passport. Which I went back in the afternoon and get a temp stamp in my passport saying I was approved that day. Good luck to everyone else.

Dec/03/12: Recieved Receipts and Biometrics appointment

Jan/23/13: text and email that EAD and AP approved!!!! Yes!!!!!!!

Day 70: Jan/29/13: Card/Document Production

Day 73: Feb/01/13: Recieved EAD card.

Day 101: recieved text/email that AOS interview is April 2nd.

Day--- : AOS approved for green card. Got stamp in passport.

The office you had to go to was in bloomington? I thought it would be the St. Paul office where we did the biometrics. Congrats on your Green Card.

I did my biometrics in fargo, North Dakota.. So the field office for this area is in Bloomington which should be the sane for you. And thanks a lot.
