Our Visa Journey
2007 - Met on online forums and became friends, started chatting on MSN.
2009 - Became 'boyfriend & girlfriend' and started discussing me (Anna) going to the US to visit.
2010 summer - Went to the US for the first time, stayed for a month.
Got engaged july 26th 2010.
2011 - Visited for the second time, stayed 2 months.

So guys just want to let you know I received ead card in the mail on Saturday at noon. Hubby got the mail and there it was priority mail from USCIS. Yay!

I sent off my package on Oct 31 and it was delivered on Nov 2, so hopefully I'll hear some good news like yours soon.

Hi All

I have applied for my 140 and 485 concurrently as I fall under rest of the world category using my Spouse’s country of birth (Kuwait). Is there anyone who filed in the same way as I did?

Am i replying on the right topic and category of this forum?

Oct 2009- got Married

June 2010- POE Newark H1B July 2012 Perm applied

Sep 2012 Perm approved

Oct 2012 Medical evaluation with Civil Surgeon. TB skin test & Blood test cleared.

Nov – 6 2012 My attorney submitted I 140 & I 485 for me and 485 for my wife

November 09 2012 - I sent my I-485, I-765 and I-131 :whistle:

I hope everything with my documents is O.K., so I hope to receive EAD as soon as possible, and GC if possible without RFE and interview.

12 days since my package was signed for in Chicago... no text/email, no check cashed yet.

I'm trying very hard to be optimistic and assure myself everything is fine, but... I'm not so sure. Damn this process and what it does to the nerves!

Hi november filers, I mailed my aos packet on the oct 31st, they signed for it on the nov 1. Haven't received text nor email, neither have they cashed check. Hopefully we can all comfort one another and get through this process quickly and smoothly.

Just when I was starting to think whoever signed for the packages on the 1st and 2nd must have hidden them under a desk.... my text and email notifications came through this morning. Yay! Check hasn't been cashed yet, but I'm so glad for this first little glimmer of hope that things are moving along.

My package was sent Nov 9. I have already posted a question about the e-mail and text notifications and got really quick response. Thank you tru_loves_journey and Jason & Anna!!! I am not sure I have this specific form for the notifications in my paperwork so I guess just waiting for the paper mail to come one day :)

05 Mar '15 - Biometrics appointment in NOLA. They asked me for the second letter with both case numbers. Very complicated explanation!
