I have been waiting for 2 months now, count from the date I returned p3, and still no interview date yet. I wonder if other people here in the same situation. My case was going so fast then suddenly it came to a stall. I wonder if the election had anything to do with that.

Over 2 months and still no interview date. Should I start worry?

We received our mailed on NOA2 on 8/24 and Packet 3 was received by the Embassy on 10/2. I contacted them on 10/31 for an update and below is the response I received:

-----

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your inquiry.

We have not scheduled the beneficiary for an interview. Please note again that we received the beneficiary's completed DS-230 Part I on October 2, 2012 and our office will schedule an appointment in approximately 2-3 months. You may contact us at the end of each month for further information about the appointment date.

Best regards,

Visa Information Unit

U.S. Consulate General in HCMC

------

I will continue to contact them at the end of each month for an update. I have read the experiences of others and it appears itinterviews are taking 8 weeks to schedule once all paperwork is complete.

I think it is taking more than 8 weeks now. The consulate received our completed part I on Sept 17th.
