We contacted the Senator's office and they are going to put in an inquiry on our I-485 case.

What should we do now?

Please provide more information about your specific question or doubt so the people here can help you.

Please fill in you timeline so we know if you are past the 180 days since transferred.

My case was denied on April 24th. It was denied due to non-complicance of J-1 2-year requirement which later I approved that I am not subject to. (The Advisory Opinion letter from Department of State says I should not be subject to the 2-year requirement.)

But there is no online status update on the change. I have called the Customer Service number and talked to the supervisor. She said she couldn't see anything past the denial on April 24th...

The senator's office called me today and told me they would put in an inquiry.

Oh and the case was reopened since I sent in a Motion to Reopen and the Advisory Opinion letter.

It's just there is no status update since it was reopened and I haven't heard anything back from them.
