Hi Everyone,

My husband and I realized that the I-864 he sent in to NVC electronically has an incorrect address for me (everything in our case has already been processed and no one seems to have noticed the error. All of my other documentation had the correct address and the appt letter I received also has the correct address). The address on the I-864 is really wrong as I had just moved and my husband left my old house number but the new street name. [Honestly I swear we're not tools, but as I'm typing this I feel like one]

My question is: since my case has already been sent to our consulate, should we just wait until the interview and give the consulate an updated i-864? Or should I be sending one to NVC right now (which I am hesistant to do since I dont want them to receive new information and somehow think they need to recall my case back from the consulate to add in this new information).

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Just bring an updated I-864 to the interview. Anything you send to NVC would be pointless as they no longer have your case, thus can't update it.

Thanks Saylin, that's exactly what I would have preferred to do anyways!

I had to do the same thing with the I-864/DS-230 as my husband moved right as our case closed at NVC.
