I-485 for K1/K2 ... Finally transferred to CSC!!!!!!!

It's been a great "trick or treats" celebration for me & my son .... because finally we recieved this email messages. :dance::dance::dance:

The following is the latest information on your case status

Receipt Numbers: MSCxxxxxxxxxx ( K1 / K2 )

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On October 31, 2006, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER for processing. Our office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office.

:dance::dance::dance: Yahooooooo!!!!! :dance::dance::dance: I'd like to thanks everyone that's been always be here to help VJ members like me in time of deppressions about the processing.

Now, hopefully the upcoming decision are , Approval without Interview ... that explain why I am approved in my EAD for 42 days now but still even approval notice & EAD card weren't not in my mailbox yet. So my EAD aren't necessary now huh, if i passed my AOS without interview. :no::lol:

:dance::dance: Congratulations rebelheart that is very good news. I guess USCIS knows sometimes to send good news for holydays. :thumbs::dance:

I and my wife received same letter last night and I did not know if transfer is very good news. Now can somebody tell me is transfer to California CS great news or not. Because I thought that transfer to Chicago CS means Green Card withouth interview or at least that the case will be resolved faster ??

You answers are very appreciated.

12/12/05= I129F received by USCIS /Vermont SC

12/15/05= I received NOA1 by snail mail

02/10/06= Petition Touched ,finally something from USCIS

02/10/06= @ 5:00 PM ,just received e-mail from USCIS finally APPROVED ,

02/17/06= Received snail mail from VSC my petition approved

02/17/06= NVC Received

02/17/06= NVC Left

02/20/06= Consulate Received

03/06/06= US Embassy told her she can come 3/7/2006 for interview

03/07/06= Interview Date : VISA GRANTED & Will pick up VISA today

03/15/06= US Entry

05/11/06= Wedding

AOS/EAD

09/01/06= AOS/EAD mailed in to Chicago

09/05/06= USPS confirms delivery

09/12/06= NOA1 AOS & EAD arrives in mail

09/18/06= Received Biometrics appoint. letter

09/22/06= Biometrics appoint.

09/29/06= Received RFE in the mail..(BC not translated,even we had international (with English Vers.) BC

10/19/06= Email form USCIS: RFE Response received

11/01/06= Email form USCIS: Case transferred to California SC !!!

11/10/06= Touched

11/21/06= Email from USCIS , AOS Approved

A transfer to California Service Center (CSC) is good news as it usually means a faster approval than going through your local office ... And it also means an approval without an interview ...

We have a CSC Transfer list where you can compare you case to others ... Check this post out : We can add you to the list if you give us the info such as NOA1 date, Biometrics date and CSC Transfer date ...

Thanks so much for the greetings & adding me to update CSC Transferees. (F):D It's really a suprised though its 3 months now, but my case are K1/K2. So we're really wishing for these possible advance approval. I havent got my EAD card though, but passed it 42 days now. tsk tsk .. thats why im missing my application for SSN.

hey batchmate for AOS transfer!! :dance::dance: congratulations .... mostly people been transfered to CSC approved without interview. So we really hope so... it will leads to that path. Chicago is the main processing area, California as the letter says Local area that will handle our case.
