When I adjusted status, I used Dr. Arnold in Austin, TX. I think the MD has retired, does anyone know of anyone like Dr Arnold? Thanks for the info. I am checking for a friend who needs to do AOS soon.

If you mean a civil surgeon that will just do the I-693 transcription through a FAX or mail, then no. You must see a civil surgeon in person. Check this thread to try and find one: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/231026-civil-surgeons-who-dont-rip-you-off/

Hi! I have a K1 visa and am working for the AOS. My husband took me to ProMed Medical Care Center at 13831 US HiWay 183 in Austin TX last weekend. They accept walk-ins and they know that K1s do not need to do the medical exams all over again. I need to complete my vaccinations though (I need another dose of MMR) but in the end, the whole thing cost $150 for me. Without vaccination, the cost for transcribing the vaccinations from the DS-3025 to the I-693 is $80-$90. I tried calling other clinics but most of them are skeptical about me not doing the medicals again. Some civil surgeons that I have called charges $400-$600. Hope this helps.
