Hello, I'm new to this message board and am hoping someone will be able to help me with a question...

I am a US citizen engaged to an Irish citizen, and we live in Ireland. We are getting married in May in the US, and staying for a few weeks, and then returning to Ireland. I am wondering if my fiance needs a visa to get married in the states? He can enter the states with no problem, but I've heard it's tricky when you're getting married if you don't state that as your intention? This may only pertain to people looking to live in the states after they get married, I'm not sure.

Also, we plan on moving to the US at some point, but not for a few years. I'm not sure if that's important or not!

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thank you,

Anna
