My dad status is H-1 Visa and we are all dependent on him. We filed our green card on June 6, 2010. However, there was a major retrogression on April, 2012 for EB-2 statuses and that makes us as well. Now it is at September 01, 2004. We had a lot of plans after getting a green card but our they were all crushed and I'm sure all of you with EB-2 statuses felt the same way. What are your predictions for next month (December 2012)?

Obama has been re-elected as a President again, which to me is a good news. However, is he going to make any changes in the immigration laws in his second term of Presidency?

When will our status finally be current if it not going to happen next month? For what reason did they retrogress? It is very infuriating for people like us who pay taxes and everything at the right time.

Thank you very much.
