It looks like the R's will hold the house, the D's the Senate and BO the WH. So basically the exact same thing we've had for the past 2 years. Unless there's a common ground consensus the 3 can come too, I don't see how we're moving forward. It will be 2 more years of gridlock until the next mid-terms where both sides will try to gain majority. I'm hoping cooler heads prevail and BO can find an influential Republican he can work with to get things going. If not, at least 2 more years, possibly 4 more years of the same.

Different setting this time. Take the tax cuts, for example. Short of a deal along the lines Obama wants, they will expire and then we'll talk middle class tax cuts. There will be no debate on extending the Bush era tax cuts for the rich. Those are gone. Republicans will have the choice between tax cuts for the middle class or no tax cuts at all. Watch them oppose middle class tax cuts. Not gonna happen and you know that. See, it looks a lot like the same but it's not the same at all. Obama does not need to worry about re-election. That's a huge difference and the House and Senate Republicans will learn that very soon.

seriously, if you're cheering this, you're pretty pathetic and have zero intelligence.

Confucius said it's not wise to add any more nuts to a bowl that's already full. This election is showing that the American people got that message. Hopefully the politicians will start to realize that soon.

It's not quite the "end of an error" yet then.

Laughing my @ss off right at this moment. I think Mittens flopped last minute and voted 'D' up there in Boston.

If he'd voted democrat it would have been the only way he'd have won here. We got rid of the mistake that was Scott Brown and we are 100% blue again.

If the tax cuts lapse entirely, say hello to a new, and deeper recession. Say hello to deficits galloping past $20 trillion. Say hello to a cultural divide that will rapidly become irreparable.

Both sides need to learn to compromise, or the impasse will cripple the country.

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself
