Double submission of I-130 for K-3 visa

Hi. My I-130 is in the U.S. (I'm in China with my wife) awaiting translation of accompanying marriage certificates before being sent to the Vermont service center in the next few days. As the process is going to take awhile I've decided to find a job here to fill the 6+ months of waiting. However, if I get a job, I'll get a Z work visa, which will entitle me to a residence permit, which means that I can submit the I-130 in Beijing, which that office has told me (and I've read here) is faster than sending it through the U.S. My question is, If I've already submitted the form to the service center in the U.S. can I also submit one to the office here in Beijing if I think that would be faster? Thanks for your help.

Yes, the process of submitting in Beijing is called DCF. You may want to read up about that option, it is faster because USCIS and NVC are not involved in the processing, I still think the actual interview is still conducted in Guangzhou though.
