When I would go I'd always get this plate of noodles... you could choose which kind of meat you'd like ( I picked shrimp) and also you can give them the level of spicy you want.... 0 for me

Sounds like Pad Thai. I also get shrimp...and if they can make it -6 that's what I get :) I got 1 once and almost died.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

What exactly would someone reccomend as good Thai food? I have never really been into it. I don't like curry or coconut so what else can I try? :help:

well, my favorite good ole standby is Pad Thai w/ shrimp, but I also love the spring rolls and the Nam Sod. There are many things to choose from.... first timers can't go wrong w/ the above items!

Yummmm, I'm usually eating a green or yellow curry, but I had Green Papaya Salad while in Hong Kong . . . so I've been on a kick for that . . . had a really hot one here in Dallas a couple of weeks ago! BUT they tore down my favorite hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant (in the restaurant of an old ratty motel) and are putting up a Wal-Mart, yechhhhh, like we need another one of those!
