Hi all,

I was recently laid off my job (h-1b sponsored) but my fiance and I got married on the first week of October.

My company has no terminated my h-1b visa yet, so my husband (US Citizen) and I are filing for my greencard right now.

While looking through the I-485 form, I realized that I don't have my non immigrant visa number since I never received the stamp.

I entered the US in 2006 as a student under the F-1 visa, so that is the only stamp in my visa.

The last time I entered in the USA was under my F-1 OPT, so my I-94 is under the student status.

Do I enter the red number in my F-1 Visa since this is the only number I have? I understand this has already expired so I'm not sure what to put in.

Since we are doing this on our own without an attorney, I am doing all the research right now.

I have been doing my own research as well but my friend who experienced the same thing have given me this list:

I-130 petition for alien relative

money order $355 ( maybe changed)

certified copy of marriage certificates ---- Good idea to make at least 3

husband birth certificate

passport copy(husband)

pictures of wife and husband

G-325 Biographic Info (husband and wife)

Proof of marriage

pictures, joint bank account, apt lease, support letters from friends or family

IS-485 Register prmt Residence

Money order

wife's birth certificate (original plus english translation)

passport copy (wife)

F1 Visa copy

pic , two passport size

Form I-693

Medical examination of Alien seeking Adjustment of status

I-864 Affidavit of Suppot (husband)

tax return for 3 yrs

pay stub

I-765 Application for Employment Authorization

I-94 (copy)

pic(2)

passport copy previous EAD card (if you have one)

I-512 Authorizatioin for Parole (Travel Permit)

If there is anything I am missing it would be great to get some advice from people who have already experienced this.

Thanks in advance!
