Sorry if i missed yr earlier post, just wondering if you have involved your local congressman yet?

They really make big impact. If not done yet, that's the best option you've currently.

Letter for second interview was sent 5 months after the first one

It's over a year since first interview and almost 10 months since second interview.

No news so far, we have a lawyer that sends letter periodically and reviews immigration site for updates. It's too stressing for me and my husband I personally get lost on computers and websites I am not very savvy about technology.

We all are keeping fingers crossed for you !!

Did they give you any letter for 'further review' after the first one?

Was there any email/Text update for the 2nd interview or just letter?

As you got your 2nd interview after 5 months of the first one, Did you try to find out by making Infopaas or otherwise during these 5 months?

What status it was showing on-line during this period?

Good Luck !

Hi GreenTrain, We never checked online or requested infopass after the initial interview as the officer told us that he will contact us by mail.

Thanks

Ok Osita you got me on pins and needles....where is your local office? Don't forget to let me know in your next reply!! :)

As for my interview, there were no issues it's just that this is my 3rd marriage, 3rd spousal petition so even tho we brought plenty of proof, they want to call us back for a 2nd interview but no date yet :-/

Hi, 1 year and two months since first interview and 9 months since second one.

At our first interview IO never told us that we were going to have a second one, when my husband asked him he said we'll know by mail, and after 4 to 5 months we got letter on the mail calling us for a second interview with a list of documents that we needed to bring and we did bring everything they asked for, for the second interview and then we had the home visit.

Hope this helps, my office is Denver Colorado

Could you pls post your First interview & 2nd interview experiences?

Or the links if you posted already.

Guys, 2nd interview is always a Stokes interview(separated) or it could be just another interview because something was missed in the first one?

Pls say your opinions or experiences.

Thank you !

Hi Osita,

May I suggest you fill in your timeline? that helps all of us with knowing where you are and what's going on. It stops repeat questions and we can be more helpful.

I would suggest filing for an Infopass appointment. It's free and you might get further than your lawyer has.

TF.
