One more quick question about this:

While I will send the package to the Dallas Lockbox, should the filling location address in my cover letter be for the Columbus UCIS or should this also be a Dallas address?

either wont matter as they will just forward your petition to the appropriate service center which your state belongs geographical wise :)

read the GUIDES.. look at the examples.. they won't fail you

you submit to Dallas.. they forward to CALI or VERMONT>.

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I have been reading the guides, but just wanted to confirm because the i-129 example has instructions to enter the "address of filing location" rather than an actual address.

You make a good point. Since it has been known to change from time to time, the official form instructions and/or USCIS website should be the final reference on filing location address.
