America simply agreed with what people have been saying here all along ... Romney was not a viable candidate. Sorry! Blame the Republican party and how out of touch they are with the country they want to lead.

Republicans do a very good job of identifying appropriate candidates for state and local races.

For some reason, they failed this time to do that at a national level.

Yeah, a few of the "popular" choices for the Senate self destructed. It was a longshot anyways, but it doesn't help when you shoot yourself in the foot.

I have it all written out for him if he'd like to show up!

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

The true conservative nature of the GOP was mocked and ridiculed with the takeover by the TB's. Americans are neither conservative nor liberals to their core, and the vast majority falls somewhere in the middle of the road. The TB's tried to hijack the party and turn time back around 150 years by polarizing the divide and portraying the fifth columnists of their movement as the spokespersons for the party. Added to that is the fact that none of the elected TBs did not deliver on their platform since their election and the result was the shellacking we saw last night.

I dunno what I've done to give you the impression that I care what you have to say, but I apologize for the misunderstanding.

#######, I forgot to mention abortion in there. That's really why I mentioned women in the first place.
