. . .Good day to all. . . We are in Tuguegaro & just checked our USCIS Status; they MAILED a RFE to my home address in California! That is good news, but, does anyone have experience with getting a RFE eMailed to the petitioner so that we can comply with the request??? I sent this to the USCIS in Manila by eMail : "Good Morning. . . I, the petitioner for a I129-F Fiancee Visa, am here in Tuguegarao presently. I just checked my Case Status at the USCIS website & I see the mailed me a RFE; I am not able to get my mail while here in the PI, so I am asking if it is possible to eMail a copy of the RFE letter to me??? Is that possible so that we are able to comply with the request? Or, if you would like my Fiancee & I would both be willing to travel to Manila to present ourselves with anything you might request? Thank you in advance. . ." Suggestions please & Thanks in advance for all replys!

Forgive me and I want to help. Your really confusing the hell out of me. I maybe correct or incorrect.. You have No Timeline established so here goes... To my knowledge a RFE is sent by Your USCIS Service Center in the States before the issuance of a NOA2.. That NOA2 will not be Granted until you comply an satisfy for their request. If you do satisfy that request and approved in the States then it will be sent to Manila with a MNL# Case #. Do you have a NOA1 only at this time? Do you have a NOA2 at this time. Do you have a MNL#. Once your Approved in the States then that case is tranfered to the Philippines and its out of States hands (There is a difference from a RFE and 221(g).

Can you clarify where you are at with your Petition. They way I'm reading your post. Manila has no idea who you are.

A RFE is sent after receiving a NOA1 & PRIOR TO receiving a NOA2; that is our status currently. Correct, we DO NOT need to establish a timeline to get a Visa; some people establish a timeline, some do not. We are trying to find out if either the USCIS branch in MNL ( Yes, there is a USCIS office branch located in MNL & that is who we sent the letter to ) or the US can eMail a copy of the RFE so that we can comply with the RFE while I am here in the PI. ( Here for a couple of months ) I hope that clarifies things for everyone & I apologize for not being more clear in my posting of the question. . .. . . .

More than likely, the petitioner has filed his petition in the US (Phoenix Lockbox). Phoenix then sent this petition to the California Service Center for processing. The reason why I said it was submitted to CSC is because her petitioner is not allowed to do a "Direct filing of Petition (DCF) in Manila because he's not a resident of the Philippines (an assumption for lack of information).

Now, of course USCIS would send the RFE to his declared mailing address in the US, and RFE's are not sent by email as I've known it. What they could do is ask his friend/relatives in California to open his USCIS mail and scan them and send it to her/them in Tugegarao. Her emailing USCIS Manila may not produce a reply as his documents are in USCIS (CSC).. What she/he should do is call the USCIS hot line and talk to someone there.

. . .FYI . .The USCIS does NOT eMail a RFE even if requested per todays conversation with them. Only snail mail to the petitioners address on file. . . .So I am going to get my grandson to FEDEX the RFE ( and any other mail ) to MNL.. . .Thanks to those that responded. . .

i had one last week, you need to send the info asap as there is an expires date on there, mine is jan, and yes they only post it to the usc. also remember to put the blue slip on top of your file when you send it back so they know its an rfe and not a new application, good luck!
