AOS pending application

My paper was transferred to CSC July 14th,2006 and the last time it was updated based on my online account was August 16,2006.....untill now i dont received any notice,,,,but i read that most of the people in this site said when it was transferred to CSC the paper get approved without interview and they just sent green card...With my case, am asking why I got no notice or green card yet???Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.thanks,,,mike and vanesa

I would make an infopass appointment to check what is happening with your case..... I don''t think I have heard of any others having to wait so long after transfer to CSC....

What may have happened is once CSC reviewed your case they may have decided that they couldn't approve your case without an interview ... They may have transfered it back to MSC who would have forwarded it on to your local office ...

If any of this happened though I would expect that you would have seen this in your online status ...

Or you could be stuck in FBI namechecks like so many other people on this site. You can schedule an Infopass appointment and possibly get more information that way!

You can try infopass but the USCIS site says CSC is currently processing I-485's with receipt dates of May 2nd. So just be warned they might tell you at infopass that you are still in the timeframe since you need to be 30 days outside of it (or April 2nd I guess) for them to look into why it is taking so long. At least, that's how I understand it. When was your NOA1? I think that might be the date they go by so if that is before May 2nd you might get a little help.
