Hi everyone, it's me again lol :)

My fiances appointment is next week and I want to make sure he is prepared for any of the questions they ask. I know our age difference wont be an issue, I am 21 and he's 26. Family approval wont be an issue as well, our families have been friends since forever and our dads went to hajj together before we were born :)

Can you guys just ask your SO about the questions they asked and post them here? Especially questions that were out of the ordinary.

Go to your country portal and read embassy reviews.

The co can ask if you are related? Arranged marriage? Kids, brother, sister names, work, career, home appearance, they can ask anything. Bring pictures

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

Besides our personal red flags and "normal" questions, they asked mine where I grew up, did I go to college and where, how much did I pay for rent and monthly expenses a month - but really they asked him just as many questions about himself as they asked about me. I think that was for the background/security part.

I suggest some role play between you two and just practice all the questions you may find or think of. It helped my husbands comfort level and made the interview part fairly pleasant.
