Feeling dumb as hell right now. Called my fiance last night to tell him about a horrible day at work, he said kinda short I'm in the shower I will call you back, so I never got to tell him why I was calling..... he didn't call me back. I understood he was getting ready for church , so I let it go. So this morning I text my fiance told him I had a horrible day at work yesterday, it was so bad i didn't get to study, but I promised I would go to church early today, asked what should I do. he wrote back, it's too early to have had such a bad day, all will end in praise. I thought, wow that didn't make sense. So I felt snubbed, not once from last night, but twice now. So I called my ex to discuss the work issue( he is a nurse like me.), who promptly began to tell me how dumb I was for beli

eving the intentions of my fiance, that it is almost assured that once he able to leave, he will do so. I have always disregarded what my ex would say because I felt an honest connection to my fiance and was/am head over heels in love with him and his kindness. To add insult to injury, the other day my fiances sister made fun of my weight in front of me to him and it hurt very much. I discussed it with him but it just made me feel a little doubt, even though he apologized for his sister's actions. So back to this morning, after speaking to my ex, I text my fiance and asked him to swear before God that his intentions are true, he has not responded, it's been over and hour. Am I being too sensitive? Am I watching the clock a little too closely? I'm feeling super stupid right now....

The whole situation sounds a little overly dramatic. All I will state is this: if you have doubts, trust your gut instincts. Nigeria is the #1 country in the world regarding fraud- or any kind. That said, it doesn't mean you're on that boat. Just do your research and use an objective eye for these issues. It's hard, but not impossible. Don't feel stupid; love is the worst delusion. We all suffer from being love sick at some point in our lives. Some, suffer all their lives.

Your communicating with your Ex about about problems.. (you know that sounds kind weird don't you) Do they want to hear it? Probably not. Find something to do today and keep your mind off not getting WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR. Wait for him to get ahold of you. Trust me: If you stop Texting and Stop Calling he will start to THINK and get ahold of you.

that's about it...i would say take it easy he is human and also has his moments. when you worry to much about something you tend to make wrong judgements out of anger and frustration.

I would say shut up your mouth for saying Nigeria is the #1 country in fraud. for your information my husband do have egyptian friends and many have duped him before and my husband is a Nigerian, that does not mean all egyptians are fraudsters neither does it mean all Nigerians are fraudsters. what about if another person said Egypt is a terrorist country, are we going to say they are incorrect, ofcourse they are. they are bunch of craps in Egypt, but i will be a fool to say because Egyptians are terrorist then someone's else relationship or marriage might be bad because of this. so if you don't know how to advise, is better you keep shut and don't say a damn word.

To Nancan, my advise to you is to check your heart, the country where your hubby come from or your fiance comes from does not matter,what matter is the type of person he is, I have read about a British who got married and divorced after months, likewise Americans getting married to fellow Americans and ending up in divorce.So country does not matter, it might be you are doubting him because of where he comes from, though there may be many bad things happening there but that does not mean all of them are bad. look into the situation very well, pray about it , as prayer is the key to solve all problems, check your heart very well to see if you truly love him, look at his behavior very well and see if he truly loves you. as have said earlier with prayers everything is simple. don't be mad because his sister made fun of you because of your weight, be proud of whom you are, having weight is not a bad thing, and as you have said, he apologized for what his sister did, so thats still fine. Unable to reply you does not mean that he is lieing, he may be lieing or may not. but is you that will know as your heart will never deceive you. Please look at the situation very well before you decide what you want to do. As nobody knows when you guys met, so don't let anybody give you a wrong advise, this is your life, you must face it by yourself and last time, be prayerful .

Well you might be right, I could be nagging as he is the type who needs lots of space. (air sign) But I am not working b/c I am finishing my RN program, took an assignment last night that could have meant the difference between paying my some of my debt and still wallowing in tons of debt, so the assignment was important only to have things go awry on the first day. I was also stressed b/c the RN program is rigorous and i didn't get to study. I am a bit stressed and called for reassurance which may be considered weak. I really wanted to hear everything will be okay, not a I'll call you back and never does. My ex I talk to because he is like a reality check for me, as I feel carried away with this romance sometimes.

There is a lot of fraud in the intent of anyone from a 3 world country gaining access to the US. You know if there is anything odd about how you met and how your relationship progressed. Although you may be a little clingy at the moment it takes 2 seconds to text something as a response expecially if it your soulmate involved. His behavior towards your needs will not change when he gets here. If you are not on the same grounds maybe you will never be.

People in love like to stick their head in the Sand. I tell my fiancé when I have a bad day at work, she listens to me and tells me, you will have a better day tomorrow. This is what a relationship is about, supporting each other, in person or long distance. If he is not listening to you now, what the heck do you think he will do when he is with you 24 Hours a day? Listen Better. Wake up. With his nursing skills he has, he want need anyone when he comes to the U.S. Not talking about Fraud or the Nigerian Lottery.
