Hi everyone!

I will have my interview on November 8 and I have prepared all the requirements. One thing that is bothering me is if I should let my fiance (American Citizen) write a letter of awareness stating that he was aware that I was pregnant by the time we filed the k1 visa application. I got pregnant January when he was here for a vacation. I delivered our baby last October 11, 2012 and now I am confuse if I should submit a letter informing the Consul about this matter. My fiance is currently here in Philippines. He's been here since April and we are planning to leave for US on December to spend Christmas with his family. We are in the process also of filing CRBA for our baby. Will this baby issue affect the approval of my visa?

Any response from you guys is very much appreciated.

Thank you!:)

Having a baby will not affect your visa.

You did the right thing by filing CRBA because the baby is also a US citizen and should have a US passport.

Best of luck. :innocent:

Thank you so much for your quick response.:)

Will it be better if I bring my fiance with me on my day of interview?

I don't think they will let your fin ace in. No letter is needed as they will be able to see you filed for CRBA, so they know your fiance is aware of the baby.

Yes bring him in since he's already there.

For the Philippines, USC are allowed to go in with the applicant during the interview.

Good luck!

The future baby, and any letter, has not affect on the petition.
