F2A Filers Waiting for NOA 2.

The numbers on the waiting list refer to those who have already reached the NVC. Petitions pending at USCIS are not included in the figures. The number of F2A applicants on the list may be 100 000 lower now than a year ago, but I doubt this is of any help to us: my theory is that the figures only reflect the fact that there are 100 000 petitions at VSC waiting to be adjudicated.

hi guys,

a few weeks ago, my husband sent an email to VSC to follow up our case but we a little bit confused what does it mean? specially the bold line. can anyone tell me ? thanks a lot.

here is their reply:

>> Good day, Our records indicate that your I-130 petition was received on July 22, 2011, and is currently pending. The Vermont Service Center (VSC) is presently processing I-130 petitions filed under the F2A category which were received on or before January 28, 2011, as per the most recent posted processing times found on the www.uscis.gov website. Therefore, your case is within our normal processing times.

Review of our records reflect that your case has been forwarded on and is with an Immigration Services Officer at this time. For future status inquiries of a petition or application filed at this Center you may want to utilize our National Customer Service Center by calling 1-800-375-5283. If you would like to obtain forms, filing instructions, case status or schedule an appointment with your local office, please visit our website at www.uscis.gov.

Hi guys!!!

My priority date is feb 6 2012, and its been almost 12 month since I'm waiting!

I was wondering if somebody waiting in US, and if anyone tried to file for AOS and work authorisation wile case is pending!!

This is VERY frustrating to wait for so long and not be able to work!

did u make any service request? you PD is out of normal processing time and they should take your service request.

it doesn't really matter how long USCIS takes to approve your petition. What really matters is PD!

It does matter if your PD becomes current before USCIS has approved the petition. It is likely that many of us will be in this situation in the coming months if the VSC does not change their work priorities very soon.

ohh jeiizz.. off course it is matters. how bout if your PD, is almost 3months away to be current but you haven't got your NOA2??

jrh39 PD is February2011, that's mean 4months almost to be current, and he hasn't got his PD. while all the NVC process can take up to 6month to complete!

im so nervous and hoping mine will be in time..

I am sorry for my post .

I didn't read the whole thing . In YOUR case what I would do is to contact your congress man and ask them to expedite your case . They can do that if its out of processing time.

My congress man has helped me a lot .

are u F2A filer too?? if not, then u just have no idea about Panicking! I saw your other thread seem that you r not F2a. so better don't comment if u don't understand what we all been through here..

I am a f2a petitioner for the second time and you know what I just remembered ?

My brother's PD became current about 6 months before USCIS approved.

as far as I recall his interview was schedule and everything happened normal regardless his pd.

I did contact my congress man just to make sure.

Nope is not out of normal processing time, my PD Is 6 feb 2011 and they are currently processing until 28 jan 2011, BELIEVE ME I HAVE TRIED MANY TIMES, AND I HAVE BEEN GETTING SAME RESPONSE.

Well brother, I will have 2 years of waiting for my NOA2 On feb 6 2013 , And My priority date is very very very close, And i know a lot of people with same problem, so i guess we are a big 1 %
