Hi! My spouse called the uscis hotline and the representative told him that our NOA 2 will arrive in 5 months because they are currently processing Sept. 3 NOA2. I suppose you will receive yours in 6months. God bless us!

What is your PD and Service Center?

Are you referring to CSC Sept 3, 2011 processing time?

Just a warning: Don't believe anything the USCIS hotline staff tells you. There is a thread here on VJ with an interview with an USCIS director, and he himself acknowledged that they are useless. Apparently they have a script with about a dozen possible answers in front of them, and they just pick the one that is closest to the caller's case. They also have no idea when people can expect their NOA2s, their answers are based on the published processing times which have been stuck for months. You might have your NOA2 this month, or you might have to wait another year. No one knows how the processing times will develop in the future.

Good luck, I hope we all get approved soon!

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

13 June 2013: Case upgraded to CR1

2 July 2013: Case completed

28 August 2013: Interview - approved!

21 September 2013: POE

18 November 2013: Green card received

My husband's citizenship journey:

8 February 2013: N-400 sent
4 March 2013: Biometrics
24 April 2013: Interview
12 June 2013: Oath ceremony

my husband has made a call to USCIS, manage to call and spoke to the Tier 2 ISO (Immigration Service Officer) supervisor, after long conversation and arguments, my husband pushed to the officer to tells us what's really going on with our case and he said on his screen tells that my case has been touched on last December 13th, but they didn't say what it's mean.. and then my husband insist to asked for a Service Request, and the officer agreed to make us SR and said they will send the result within 2weeks from now.

I hope I will get good news soon. will update later.

It is rather pointless that USCIS announces their processing times in months. This would perhaps make sense if they actually had a steady flow of approvals coming out, but when they have practically stopped processing F2A cases, this sort of communication is nonsense. A year ago we were told that the processing time for VSC is 11 months, and now, a year later, they have only approved a handful of people and for the rest of us, the processing time is almost 23 months. Next month it will be 24 months, in March 25 months, etc.

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

13 June 2013: Case upgraded to CR1

2 July 2013: Case completed

28 August 2013: Interview - approved!

21 September 2013: POE

18 November 2013: Green card received

My husband's citizenship journey:

8 February 2013: N-400 sent
4 March 2013: Biometrics
24 April 2013: Interview
12 June 2013: Oath ceremony

The numbers on the waiting list refer to those who have already reached the NVC. Petitions pending at USCIS are not included in the figures. The number of F2A applicants on the list may be 100 000 lower now than a year ago, but I doubt this is of any help to us: my theory is that the figures only reflect the fact that there are 100 000 petitions at VSC waiting to be adjudicated.
